Another brief update
I met with my doctor on Wednesday. All of the ligaments in my shoulder are torn and stretched. I'm waiting to find out when my corrective surgery will be :(
shit court. how the fuck did that happen?? i'm sorry babe. the surgery will suck, but you'll feel so much better when you get it! i wanna be there to hold your hand!!!
and i'm sorry i didn't tell you about the arthrogram and mri process. it absolutely does suck. with that steal table you lay on and then they shove you in that cylinder FOREVER with the radio playing crap that does not cover up the sounds of machine moving around. scary. all i could think about was what it must be like for someone who might have cancer and is put in there to see where the tumors are. thats weird and dark, but its all i thought about. how horrible that would be.
anyways. i love you and you will be back to perfect in no time! hang in there!!!
Hi love, I'm almost glad I didn't know before hand. I think the needle was the worst part but being in the MRI sucked. Yeah, the music definitely doesn't cover up the sounds and I kept waiting for the damn thing to collapse on me.
My surgery is June 6, so I have a little less than two weeks to prepare. I'm not looking forward to it, but it's the best choice. The PT didn't offer a very long-term solution :\
