SOKKER!! Where are you, girls??

Three weeks have passed and I got to take my arm out of the sling today. It was definitely an experience, with lots of "ow!!"'s and learning my new limits. Apparently, I can't 1) close a pen, 2) throw a pair of panties in the hamper, 3) open the refrigerator door, 4) turn the wheel of the Honda, 5) open the door of the Honda, 6)... well, you get the idea!

Today is also Kate's very last day of "work" out in Arizona. I've very excited that she'll be graduating and coming home to us very soon!! CONGRATS, DEGA!!! :D

Britty, when is the big move to Jacksonville?? July, right?? Are you excited? :) I'm excited for you!!

LaLa, I talked to you briefly the other day. What's the status on the job, any good news?? I'm eager to hear about your new position!

I miss you girls a ton. Life is lonely here away from so many people I love (although Kate's got me beat), but it's going well. Work has got me HOPPIN' and I adore it. I didn't stop one time all week because we had some issues with a vendor and had to regulate... I loved it. I feel so empowered, although for every push there's a pull, so my time to be regulated on is coming (and I'm ready!)

I also have a new friend! His name is Brian and he is one of the leasing managers at my apartment complex. I met him when I moved in, but didn't think anything else about it. I've been seeing him some around the property and we've started going to the gym together in the evenings. He runs while I'm on the bike (which is all I can do until July 18). Tonight he borrowed his friend's solstice and we went riding all over Raleigh, grabbed dinner, saw a mustang that puts down 850 HP at the wheels, and then watched Wall-E (for the record, it's SUPER cute!!) We had a good time, but FRIEND is key to this situation. I have no inclination toward dating right now... I'm afraid it will mess up the good hold I've got on life.

Well, that's my short updated! (Although it's not so short!) I hope you girls have an opportunity to post soon, as I would LOVE to know what you're up to!
